Geoffery Forsyth

Geoff was a great addition to Investment House on Forest, when he joined in April 2023 bringing additional client relationships to the firm. Gary introduced Geoff to his existing clients and Geoff began assisting Gary with his client base in 2024 Geoff is now the Financial Advisor for Investment House on Forest, Inc.
Gary and Geoff had known each other for over thirty years. Gary and his wife Carmen attended Geoff's and his wife Elizabeth's wedding. Geoff and Beth have two sons, Henry and James who attend the Timmerman School here in Forest Acres.
Geoff has lived in Columbia since 1985 and is a graduate of Spring Valley High School. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and International studies from the University of South Carolina and started his financial services career during college as an intern for Prudential Services. After graduation, he was a Business Analyst for Mergent (formerly Moody's). Past experience includes Wachovia Securities Support Center working with brokerage Accounts, 401K's and IRA's and Bank of America Private Bank in the Trust Department working with high net worth client IRAs.
Geoff began his Brokerage career at Smith Barney and he was a Financial Advisor at SouthState Bank (Formerly South Carolina Bank and Trust) Investment Services prior to joining IHOF.
Gary believed Geoff would be a strong addition to Investment House on Forest, Inc. and that he would take care of clients in the proper spirit and trusting manner that has been the philosophy of IHOF.
Geoff is dedicated to continuing Gary's financial philosophy and the IHOF office the same as it has always been, committed to serving each client with the upmost integrity and as family not just clients. The core philosophies of Investment House on Forest have always been:
